Thoughts for a Great Trip
I don't just organize trips and create wonderful experiences all over Europe, I travel myself and there are a few things I recommend for you to enjoy your trip to the fullest
Different cultures do things differently and have different understandings of what they consider to be good service or an enjoyable experience. An American client might be offended if the guide leaves them to have lunch on their own where as a Japanese client would be insulted that a guide presume to eat with them. Roll with the flow.
Vouchers and reservations get lost. It's a fact of life. Don't get upset trying to figure out why. Focus on fixing the problem or if not possible cut your losses and move on.
Don't try and fit too much in. You will end up not remembering everything and exhausting yourself and your guide.
Book in Advance. It is true you can make bookings at the last minute but often you will pay more and not get the best guides who have been booked way in advance. Especially true in the high season May, June, July, September, October.
See a few major monuments but plan at least one day to get lost or go with a guide to places off the beaten track.

I believe that if you are in the travel and hospitality business you have to be totally customer service oriented providing a high level of service to those spending 22euro or 22,000 euro.
When my clients come to Paris my job is to make sure everything has been planned correctly and with the goal they want to actually have a good time as opposed to certain holiday makes who travel just to say they have been somewhere.
We are constantly confirming and re confirming reservation with our suppliers and even then things can go wrong - that's part of the travel adventure - however we are only a phone call away to solve the problem and give clients peace of mind.
I travel frequently between Paris and Italy, Spain, and more recently Prague and Morocco because Paris is often the first stop to a longer vacation and I feel it is important to be familiar with many popular destinations in order to offer first hand experience.

The trip was a great success, and she has already told me that the June 2010 trip will be Scotland/Ireland, and is going to be limited to 30 people!

Bateaux Parisiens Incentive Lunch Cruise for 200
Just briefly to thank you again and extend the good feedback the clients gave me the other day on the phone, which I suppose you can forward as well to Jerome and the people at Bateaux Parisiens. She said that food was fantastic and very happy with assistance they got over there. I think she really appreciated as well to have all the contact phone number beforehand as peace of mind. Wasn't able to get to your special feedback site, but wouldn't like to withhold mine. It was 'merveilleux' Saturday 28th June 2008 Celebrating the second lustrum of our organization, both staff and management went on a three day trip to Paris. From their cryptic programme, our party of nine people knew they would be taken on a sightseeing tour through Paris, but had no idea they were in for an extremely pleasant surprise.... You haven't asked me but I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed Angelo. I think Colin did too...but then he is 19! He DID say that it was a good trip so that's HUGE. Angelo certainly knows his topic and I would put any of my friends in his capable hands. I appreciated the car size...it was very comfortable. Both cooking classes were good, although the second had the best teacher, Alex. Very energetic, fun and funny. You can't control who signs up for these classes but the second class also had fun people. the first class had some unhappy campers and that makes it hard for everyone. Tara is a darling. I'd shop with her any day. The driver on Sunday appeared on the dot in a HUGE van....and got us to the airport by 7:50am. SUPER. I will tell you that because we got there in such good time and therefore early, there was only one person in front of us for check in, one person in the tax scheme line and NO one in front of us in security! Worth every penny of leaving a little earlier! Thank you for all your work and attention to detail to ensure that we got what we wanted! You delivered!Best, March 23rd 2011 Miranda

Thanks Larry. We had a wonderful trip and I will be posting a review on TripAdvisor shortly. The cruise with Joseph and Benjamin on the Seine was the highlight of our trip - quite simply it was awesome! I'm also really looking forward to seeing the photos that Kevin took that will hopefully provide us with a permanent memento of our visit. Kevin is a very colourful and entertaining character, so kept us engaged and laughing throughout our walking tour. Also, the driver we had with SuperShuttle service with the pickup from the airport was absolutely incredible - did a bit of a mini tour on the way in but he was delightful company. Thanks again for all your support and coordination in the lead-up to our departure. Everything went by without a hitch. Nancy and I still talk about the trips you arranged and the great times we enjoyed. I'm reminded of you every day as I have a picture on my desk that we took of the Eiffel Tower at night with the fireworks on Bastille Day in 2007. We took the picture as we crossed a bridge when we were walking back to the hotel after we met you for dinner on our last night. It's quite some little time since we last chatted on email - you were personally instrumental in helping create an especially memorable visit to Paris a couple of years ago for my partner's birthday and we've never forgotten it. I was in Paris with my 13 year old daughter & my 15 year old niece last week and hired your company through expedia. Spending the morning with Kevin on a photographic tour was the highlight of our entire trip. Kevin inspired two young girls with no initial interest in photography to become very passionate about carrying a camera with them all through Europe. There perspective on looking through the lens, how to frame a photo, use light, and snap when the opportunity presents itself was invaluable. I have a passion for photography and Kevin taught me so much. I cannot thank you enough for providing such a terrific service. Normandy and D Day Beach Overnight Tours
