Postcards from Paris
Details:
What you will Learn
You will learn the rules of correct composition, technique of drawing and principals of watercolour. Also you will expand your horizon with the knowledge of contrast and similar colours, colour wheel and much more!
You will work with watercolour or ink on artist's paper. All materials are provided.

Where you will paint
If weather permits you will be painting in front of or around Notre Dame and the bridges that connect it to the left and right bank. In the event it rains you will sit at one of the many cafe's along the way where you will also have very interesting views of the river, Notre Dame, interesting buildings etc or a typical Parisian cafe scene.
On special request for 4 or more people we can select other famous location such as the Champs de Mars or Montmartre or if you have a long stay in Paris we can discuss your own project or a series of paintings and work on them.
Making Postcards
There are a number of print stores in Paris where you can have have color copies of your original watercolors made and which you can send to your friends.
Commissions
Also if you have a particular place in Paris you love and would like to have a painting of it you could discuss it with the artist and even BE PAINTED in it!
Your commission will take only couple of days to complete and you will return home with a very PERSONAL painting from Paris.
Paris thru the Lens
From humble church to towering cathedral, Notre-Dame is the world-famous jewel in the crown of the Ile de la Cite, the original Paris before the city outgrew its island boundaries. But this whole area is steeped in history and secrets just waiting to be discovered. We will enter the moving and visually stunning monument to the deportation. We will roam the banks of the river and the twisting backstreets rich in atmosphere and echoes of the past. And we will investigate the legendary Latin Quarter.

Surprise your friends and family with a Postcard of Paris painted by YOU.
Each session meets at the Pont Louis Philippe from where you will walk across the bridge towards Notre Dame. On the way you will discuss what you will do. Afterwards, you will work individually or in semi private groups "en plein air".
In only a few hours you will have created your own Postcard from Paris!

Montmartre
A classic opportunity to pain where the greats painted . From Picasso to Renoir they all lived and worked right in the heart of Montamartre. There are many subject o choose from here from the vineyards to the bistors to Sacre Coeur and the famous Panoramic view of Paris.
Notre Dame
The areas around Ile St Louis and Notre Dame is one of the most picturesque in Paris. In every direction you will have amazing view to paint - the Cathedral, the bridgets connecting to the left and righ bank, the bistros and more.
