Option 1 - Avignon - Luberon
Day 2 : Breakfast at hotel Pick-up at hotel around 9 am for a Lavander excursion and a tour of Luberon villages. You will be driven around a panoramic route through the Luberon to discover the most beautiful villages of Provence : Roussillon (stopover), Gordes (stopover), and entry to the Lavander Museum (inclusive). In season (15/06-15/07) stopover at the Abbey of Sénanque to enjoy the magnificent sight of lavender fields. On Tuesday’s, free time to walk through the provençal market at Gordes. Return to hotel around 1.45 pm.
Free time for lunch. Free afternoon for shopping. Around 5.00pm bus from Avignon town for Avignon TGV. 6.05pm TGV for Paris, arrival 8.45pm.

Option 2 - Avignon and Van Gogh's Provence
Day 2 : Around 9 am pick-up for a Van Gogh excursion in Provence. Stopover at Les Antiques in Saint Rémy de Provence (triumphal arch and mausoleum) located in an olive grove frequently painted by Van Gogh. Visit to les Baux de Provence, a charming village perched on a rocky spur 245 metres above sea level. Walking tour through Arles with its rich architectural heritage notably famous Roman amphitheatres, Antique Theatre, the Cathédrale St Trophime and places made famous by Van Gogh’s paintings, most of them intact like The Yellow House, Night Café, Garden at the Hôtel Dieu... Morning excursions : Free time for lunch at the market – Arles (Saturdays) and Fontvieille (Monday). Return around 1.45 pm (Monday and Saturday). (Programme subject to change depending on day of week).
Free afternoon for shopping. Around 5.00pm bus from Avignon town centre for Avignon TGV. TGV departure 6.05 pm for Paris, arrival 8.45 pm.

Day 2 : Bayeux – Paris
Breakfast at hotel. Free time to visit Bayeux, long ago sacked by northerners, and the town’s eleventh-century Notre Dame Cathedral -- a fine example of the Norman gothic school of architecture built by Bishop Odon, half-brother of William the Conqueror. You will be free to visit the Museum of the Battle of Normandy which, having been entirely redone in 2006, explores the unique and exhaustive story of Normandy landings and combat between June 7 and August29, 1944. Lunch at the Petit Normand restaurant in town centre. Audio guided visit of the Bayeux tapestry telling the story of King William’s conquest of England following the sermon of Edward the Confessor and the oath taken by King Harold, events which led to the Battle of Hastings. Taxi from hotel to station at the end of the day for the 6.30 pm Corail train to Paris.

Day 2 : Beaujolais Tour – Paris
Hotel breakfast. 9.15 am Meeting at the Place Bellecour in the old town for a day out called « Beaujolais Pierres Dorées » or « Beaujolais golden stones. » Three rivers flow through Lyon: the Rhône, the Saône and the Beaujolais … Come and visit this region behind the label and discover the Golden Stones Country, also called French Tuscany. Along this journey, you will pass through beautiful rolling hills dotted with vineyards, see imposing castles, and visit several small medieval villages constructed with "Golden Stones". You will meet 2 wine-makers willing to share their savoir-faire and you will taste their Beaujolais wines in a friendly atmosphere. Your driver guides you through Beaujolais country in an innovative way, taking you on a journey of discovery, visiting tiny, picturesque villages and meeting local wine producers. They talk with passion about the cultivation of vines and the whole winemaking process followed by red and white wine tastings in a convivial atmosphere. Around 12.30-1pm Lunch at La Feuillée in Theizé or Le Chatard in the town of Sarcey. Early afternoon visit to the village of Bagnols, guided tour of the medieval village of Oingt and a final meeting with a second winemaker who shows off his fermentation vats and his cellar before offering tastings of four wines.
Return to Lyon around 6 pm. 8 pm TGV back to Paris

6.45 am Meet at Gare Austerlitz to take the Corail train, departure 7.06 am for Bourges, arrival 8.57 am. Meet at the tourist office, distribution of your personal welcome pack. Check-in at the Bonnets Rouges, a picturesque 17th century guesthouse ideally located in the historic town centre. Lunch in town centre. In the afternoon a guided (or non-guided) tour of the Cathedral Saint-Étienne, listed by Unesco as World Heritage site, and/or tour of the Old City on foot or by mini train-(March to November). Day 2 : Sancerre – Paris
Breakfast at guesthouse You will visit the Palais Jacques-Cœur, magnificent 15th century gothic civic building built on the Gallo-Roman ramparts.
